Atención Fashion: Fashion Feeds Returns to San Miguel de Allende, Where Style Meets Purpose

By Isabel Calderón Pascacio
There are few things that San Miguel de Allende does quite as beautifully as bringing people together around good food, creativity, and a worthy cause. Fashion Feeds brings all three to the table, quite literally. Following the success of last year's inaugural-style runway brunch, Fashion Feeds returns with another afternoon of fashion, food, and philanthropy, this time at Hotel Live Aqua San Miguel de Allende on Sunday, November 15, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. But Fashion Feeds is about considerably more than a beautiful runway. The event is held in support of Feed the Hungry San Miguel, an organization that provides nutritious meals and other support to children and families in communities throughout the municipality.
Looking Back at Fashion Feeds 2025
Last year's Fashion Feeds introduced San Miguel audiences to the idea that fashion could be both a celebration and a way to give back. Held on September 28, the runway brunch brought together Wear SMA, The Agency San Miguel, and Feed the Hungry for a morning that paired fashion with fine dining and philanthropy. The program featured designers José Yañez, Raúl del Castillo, Sartoria CB7, Christopher Fallon, and Angela & Dolores Luxury Upcyclers, with accessories by Notus and Altura Siete. The premise was wonderfully simple: come for the fashion and brunch, and leave knowing that your participation also helped support children in need.
Feed the Hungry described the event as an opportunity for guests to enjoy a runway presentation and exceptional cuisine while helping provide nutritious meals to children throughout the municipality. Most importantly, the organization emphasized that every ticket purchased helped support its ongoing mission. That combination of style and substance is what gives Fashion Feeds its particular appeal. It isn't a traditional fundraiser where philanthropy is something added to the evening. The charitable purpose is woven into the experience itself.
A Ticket Does More Than Get You Through the Door
For many people attending Fashion Feeds, the immediate attraction will be the clothes, the setting, the brunch, and the opportunity to spend an afternoon with friends. But the ticket also becomes a small, tangible contribution toward the work of Feed the Hungry San Miguel. The organization has been working in San Miguel de Allende since 1984. Its current programs include school meals, early-childhood nutrition, nutrition education, and community partnerships. Feed the Hungry reports that in 2025 it provided 1.185 million meals and served more than 4,800 children.
That makes the idea behind Fashion Feeds particularly compelling: an afternoon devoted to fashion can help support something as fundamental as making sure a child has a nutritious meal. And that is perhaps the best reason to put Fashion Feeds on the calendar. You don't have to choose between enjoying yourself and supporting an important local cause. The two are designed to happen at the same time.
Fashion Feeds 2026: A New Lineup of Designers
This year's event brings together established names, contemporary Mexican design, and distinctive local creative voices.
Featured designers include:
In the Middle brings its own perspective to the runway, classic linen menswear line adds something quite interesting to the runway.
Pineda Covalín adds one of México's best-known design names to the lineup. The brand is recognized for incorporating Mexican cultural imagery and symbolism into contemporary fashion.
Raúl del Castillo returns to Fashion Feeds following his participation in last year's event, giving attendees a chance to see another chapter of his work on the runway.
Salvador Collection is also part of this year's featured designer lineup, alongside Sergio Cejudo and Virgins Saints & Angels, the luxury jewelry brand that features symbols of protection and good fortune, infused with romance and spirituality.
And then there are the accessories. This year's accessory designers include Giovan Luna, Indómita, Notus, Oscar Deaz, and Rafael Adón, adding another layer of detail to the runway presentation.
More Than a Fashion Show
On November 15th, guests will gather at Hotel Live Aqua San Miguel de Allende for an afternoon of fashion and brunch, with the work of In the Middle, Pineda Covalín, Raúl del Castillo, Salvador Collection, Sergio Cejudo, and Virgins Saints & Angels, complemented by accessories from Giovan Luna, Indómita, Notus, Oscar Deaz, and Rafael Adón.
And underneath it all is the reason the event exists: helping Feed the Hungry San Miguel continue its work with children and families.
Fashion Feeds is a reminder that an afternoon of beauty can have a lasting impact, and that sometimes, the most stylish way to give back is simply to show up.
